 10,000 lives touched

10,000 lives touched
Published on 1 Oct,2015

Through various programmes and initiatives the Global Adjustments Foundation touched over 10,000 lives between April 2015 and March 2016, in one financial year. This fulfilling feat was accomplished through events such as, ‘I Can’ motivational sessions for children who study in government-run schools. These events featured one-hour confidence building sessions. Over 5,000 students attended these sessions over the last year.

The Foundation also conducted ‘Happy Marriage’ workshops in association with Bharat Matrimony for women pursuing the final year of their education in colleges. Founder/CEO Ranjini Manian and Foundation Director Usha Ramakrishnan conducted several sessions on stress management, meditation and calmness for various people of various age groups and backgrounds.

The Foundation conducted beginning and finishing school for college students, A2A (Aspiration to Achievement), Emojis (on emotional intelligence) and other customized workshops, including one for mothers on supporting their daughters’ careers.

The Foundation also conducted a workshop titled, ‘Rise in Love’ for college students in the first year of their graduation.
